January 2008

       Every Wednesday, 9th,16th,23rd,&30th - "Snowshoe HumpDay" 11 am - 12pm. Grab a pal and come out for a guided snowshoe walk then have lunch by the fireplace. Snowshoe rentals are $3.

        Saturday, 12th and 26th - "Cross-Country Ski Lessons" 10am-12 pm. All ages and abilities welcome. Learn to ski, go on a guided ski and have lunch by the fireplace. $10 for lessons and $4 for rentals, if needed.

        Saturday, 19th - "Moonlight Ski and Snowshoe at the Nature Center". 6-8 pm. Free except for rental fees. Snowshoe rentals are $3 and cross-country rentals are $4.

        Saturday, 26th  - "Oil Painting with Wilson Bickford, Autumn Leaves" 10 am - 2 pm . $40 . All supplies included.

February 2008

        Saturday, 2nd - "Basketmaking" 1-4 pm. Participants, 9 years or older, can make an 8" square by  4"  tall napkin basket with Vicky Fedonick. All materials supplied. Call for fees.

        Saturday, 2nd,9th,16th,23rd -  "Cross-Country Ski Lessons " 10am - 12 pm. All ages and abilities welcome. Learn to ski, go on a guided hike and have lunch by the fireplace. $10 for lessons and $4 for rentals, if needed.

        Saturday, 9th - "Family Snowshoe Guided Hike"  10:30 am - 12 pm. All ages and  abilities are invited to come for a fun, family guided hike. Snowshoe rentals are $3. Have lunch by the fireplace after.

        Tuesday, 19th - "Cross-Country Ski Lessons"  10 am - 12 pm. See above.

        Wednesday, 20th - "Cross - Country Ski Lessons" 10 am - 12 pm. See above.

        Thursday, 21st - "Nature Art For Kids"  10 am -12 pm. Ages 5 - 12 will learn fish art and make ty-dyed t-shirts. $12 fee.

        Friday, 22nd - " Outdoor Fun for Kids" 10am -2 pm . Ages 5-12 will go snowshoeing, sledding and make a colorful Nature Center snnowman. $12 fee.
